Riegel Feed & Grain has stood on North Washington Street since 1954. We custom grind and mix feed, buy and sell grain, and keep a working store for livestock, pets, show animals, and the family freezer.

Since 1954
Grandpa started it. The family still runs it.
Vaughn D. Riegel opened the mill in the spring of 1954. He was a cattleman, farmer, and U.S. Army veteran who lived the rest of his life in New Paris. He retired as owner-operator in 2008. The mill is now run by his son Dwight Riegel and granddaughter Nicole Wood, with Nicole’s brother — three generations on the same street.
The corporation was organized in Ohio in 1996. The mill itself is older than that: a working country elevator that still custom-grinds feed and still knows the farms around Preble County by name.
